This year’s Victoria Pride Festival is packed full of exciting events, many of which involve delicious eats. From picnics to beer gardens, there is plenty to eat while you enjoy this year’s festivities. So, we tracked down a ton of drag-related events for every possible meal of the day.
Brunch, lunch, dinner, we’ve got you covered!
Picnic in the park while watching a multi-generational game of baseball played in drag. Food and drinks will be available from Eves’ Destruction Roller Derby. The drag ball game will take place at Victoria West Park July 1, 12-3pm.

Bask in eggs benedict heaven while watching Vicious Poodles’ weekly Saturday and Sunday drag performances this week, with shows starting at noon. Alternative brunch dishes include chicken waffles, vegan breakfast hash, and breakfast poutine. Enjoy with a mimosa or a Caesar.

When: Saturday, July 1 or Sunday, July 2 from 11-2pm or later.
Drink some Moon Shaft Flights and munch on some bites from Moon Under Water’s menu including tacos and burgers while enjoying a drag performance hosted by Leo Moon and featuring other local talents including Peaches N Scream, Boy Gorgeous, and Sylvester Stalletto.

When: Saturday, July 8, from 11:30am-2:30pm
Sip on some Wizard of Oz themed cocktails like “lions, tigers & bears,” a rye based drink with cherry aromatic bitters, while taking in some amazing drag performances hosted by Mina Mercury. FOD’s dinner menu includes tasty dishes like mushroom carbonara and vegan smash burgers. This event happens weekly on Fridays and Saturdays, so even after Victoria Pride Festival is over you can enjoy dinner while watching some of Victoria’s talented performers!

Watch some of Victoria’s very best drag performers at MacDonald Park while sipping on a cool lager in the beer garden following the Victoria Pride Parade July 9, 12-8pm. Lighthouse brews and Strait & Narrows will be available to enjoy for $9. Grab some delicious bites to eat from the festival’s food truck selection that will feature Deadbeetz Burgers, Tamales Don Carlos, and Sub-Zero Ice Cream.
